After buying a new 2022 M2 MacBook Air, I decided to purchase a sleeve and hard shell case in which I could conveniently carry the laptop around in a minimalist manner.
High quality leather sleeve for Macbook
I purchased this leather sleeve by TOWOOZ from amazon. The product description specified it’s designed for the 2020 MacBook Air M1 and 2022 M2 models. I liked the leather finish, the inner protective padding, and the magnetic closing mechanism. The sleeve also came with a matching leather pouch for storing the charger and any dongles like this 6-in-1 USB-C adaptor.
The MacBook Air fit perfectly in the sleeve, Snug fit, Even with the hard shell case on, packing and removing the computer was easy. Overall great sleeve, looks good, works well.
Unfortunately I had to return the M2 MacBook Air, and got a 9th generation iPad. I still kept the sleeve, which I now use for the iPad
Can the sleeve be used for an iPad
It’s slightly oversized, but it works. The iPad being a slimmer device than a MacBook fits easily into the sleeve. The extra space available in the case can be used to keep the charger wire and other items. The pouch that came with the sleeve can be used for something else now.
The larger size of the case also turns it into a spacious surface on which I can use the iPad on a table or in my lap. The folding lip of the sleeve, although designed to raise the MacBook at a 15 degree incline, can do the same for an iPad for a comfortable viewing or writing experience.
